Fire Proofing

Commercial and industrial spaces of all sizes are susceptible to fires. Combustible dust, flammable liquids and gases and hot work equipment (heating, burning, soldering) are cause for concern. Insulation fireproofing mitigates the high-temperature exposure in steel and concrete structures that can lead to fires. As an added benefit, this type of insulation regulates temperature, which in turn saves on total energy costs. Fireproofing any commercial or industrial space is a clear first step when establishing safety and maintenance protocols.

Fireproofing insulation are maintaining the structural stability, avoiding flashover and guaranteeing thermal restrictions of structural elements are not exceeded. The required fire resistance is in general defined somewhere between a half an hour and two hours. It depends on the type of construction material as per client requirements of specification.

Ceramic Fiber Blanket

Ceramic fiber paper is a high-temperature insulation material that is made from ceramic fibers and is used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. It is known for its excellent thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, and high resistance to fire proofing.

Rockwool / Mineral wool LRB (Lightly Resin Bonded)

Mineral wool / Rockwool is Fire resilient insulation, it’s made from non-combustible fire-resistant stone wool that can withstand temperatures above 1,000°C1., slows down the spread of fire, containing it within one compartment of a building for as long as possible. With minimal organic content, no significant toxic smoke is produced either. It’s Does not produce any significant toxic smoke; Limits fire spread and provides robust performance. Its given top fire performance classifications and based on several characteristics including:

  • Ignitability
  • Flame spread
  • Heat release
  • Smoke production
  • Propensity for producing flaming droplets/particles

Fiber Glass wool

Glass wool blanket is one kind of porous material with excellent thermal insulation and  sound absorption performance. The fiber glass wool coated with aluminum foil also has a thermal radiation reflection ability, and is a preferred material for high-temperature workshops and applications, machine rooms compartments and flattop
